Mets 2, Pirates 1

Welcome boys to 10 games over .500.  How nice it is!!  We’re in first place and it’s time to pull away from those Phils!

Mike Pelfrey was back to his dominant self tonight.  He got his 11th win of the year and was pretty much unhittable all night.

The Mets got two first-inning runs and then, big surprise, they did nothing for the rest of the game…they need to change this.

David Wright looks to be in the zone right now.  He made some hard outs to go along with his first-inning RBI.

And gotta give credit to Aaron Heilman.  His two-out walk was pretty inexcusable, but he got the job done.  Let’s take another one tomorrow and keep it rolling.
