Phillies are up 1-0 in the NLCS. Hope all the Mets fans are enjoying watching the Phillies making another run at a championship!

Hi Mike,
good to hear you're still alive. I know how you feel, I'm not waking up at 3am Irish time to check the scores of the games anymore so at least the Mets being so poor has improved my sleep! Being the sucker for punishment that I am I did catch one of the games in Wrigley when I was over in Chicago a few weeks back. Needless to say they lost but they actually went 2-1 up in the 8th before giving up 4 in the bottom half. But it was a good experience, I enjoyed Wrigley and had plenty of joking with Cubs fans and stewards before and after the game. I see the fixtures are out for 2010 but I think I'll be pushing my luck with my wife if I suggest heading over again to catch another 4 or 5 games at Citifield. I thought I was luck that she didn't mind me going this year. Having said that, the homestand in early may against the Giants and Nationals looks appealing. Maybe if I'm nice to my wife for the next few months, she might let me go again! Looking forward to the the next podcast, even if it is going to sound like a funeral.
